Two independent game developers recently announced "Don't Scream," a new horror game designed on Unreal Engine 5. The interesting part about 'Don't Scream,' set in the early '90s, is that players are required to remain silent in real life while playing it. They're required to have a microphone, which will add a thrilling dimension to the gameplay. The game events aren't predictable and only unfold as you traverse through Pinewood Forest.

The game lasts for 18 minutes, considered apt by developers to share a spine-chilling experience with your friends and family. Some handy tips from developers include proper calibration of your microphone and maintaining low voice levels during gameplay, as loud noises could lead to the end of the game. While players could cheat the system by not calibrating the microphone correctly, this would reduce the thrill that comes with the game.

Curious game-lovers can add "Don't Scream" to their wishlist on Steam to follow its progress. Ryan McCaffrey, IGN's executive editor of previews and host of several shows, reported this news.
