Kazuhisa Wada of Persona Team clarified that, contrary to fans' hopes based on previous re-releases with added content, the developers are not considering revising Persona 3 Reload in a similar manner as they did with Persona 5 to Persona 5 Royal. Nonetheless, Wada mentioned the significant difference in budget and cost for the remake compared to the original, acknowledging that a re-release might be too expensive. Still, he left the door slightly open for the possibility, stating that plans are not set in stone. For now, players can engage with the content-rich Persona 3 Reload without expectations of subsequent versions.

Persona 3 Reload is a remastered version of the original Persona 3 game, which was highly acclaimed for its narrative depth, unique social link system, and blend of traditional turn-based combat with life simulation elements. Persona 3 introduced mechanics like the 'Dark Hour' and evoking 'Personas' by using an Evoker, which became series staples. The game was originally released on the PlayStation 2 in 2006 and was followed by Persona 3 FES with an additional playable epilogue and Persona 3 Portable which included a female protagonist option and some gameplay adjustments suited for the PSP.

Looks like Persona 3 Reload is holding steady as the definitive version for now. Atlus seems cautious about diving into re-releasing it with additional content, which makes sense considering the cost of remaking the game. It's cool to see the team's focus on making the current version as content-rich as possible.
Ah, it's a shame that Persona 3 Reload won't be getting a Royal or Golden edition like its successors, but it's good to hear that it's considered a complete version. The Persona series has such a dedicated fan base, and I'm sure they'll still dive into the remastered experience with enthusiasm.
Ah, it's a shame that Persona 3 Reload won't be getting the Royal treatment like Persona 5 did. It's such a beloved title with a rich storyline and unique gameplay mechanics. But hey, at least we can still dive into the remastered version and relive those dark hour adventures without waiting for potential updates
