In the recent update of the popular video game Baldur’s Gate 3, a significant change for an in-game character, a cat named His Majesty, has been made. Back in previous versions, His Majesty was a feline character without fur due to a bug. The same model was used for another cat character named Steelclaw. However, the developers, Larian Studios, updated the game with Patch 3 to dress His Majesty in fur, claiming the earlier lack of fur was due to a glitch. This move did not sit well with many avid players who had grown used to His Majesty's hairless image. In response to their discontent, the recent hotfix 8 rolled the fur back, leaving His Majesty furless once again. Moreover, Steelclaw was modified as well, receiving a different eye color to differentiate the two cats. After the corrective hotfix, several players expressed their satisfaction with the resolution. In addition to these changes, hotfix 8 has resolved numerous other bugs. A full list of tweaks can be found on the Steam platform. Baldur’s Gate 3 is currently available for PC and PlayStation 5, with plans to release it on Xbox Series X and S later this year.
