Ubisoft and Limited Run Games have officially announced the Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition, following a brief accidental leak by Ubisoft. This remastered edition, releasing digitally on June 25 and physically on July 12, will feature a new treasure hunt, anniversary gallery, re-orchestrated soundtrack, and support for up to 60FPS along with other new content. Originally launched in 2003 for PS2, PC, Xbox, and Gamecube, Beyond Good & Evil was praised for its engaging gameplay and unique story. Its HD re-release in 2011 for Xbox 360 and PS3 brought it to a new generation of gamers. Beyond Good and Evil 2, a prequel to the original, was announced in 2017, but has seen slow development progress.
