The 2D roguelike Have a Nice Death is now available, putting players in the shoes of Death himself, armed with a scythe, 70+ weapons, and spells to control his unruly employees. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition arrives on May 2 with upgraded visuals and gameplay, complete with all DLC content. Kona 2: Brume, which releases on May 7, will continue the first-person narrative adventure in a mist-enshrouded Canadian village. Releasing May 9, Little Kitty, Big City offers an open-world adventure, where players, as a stray cat, have countless adventures while trying to find their way home. Finally, the revered Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons returns on May 14, pairing puzzle-solving with an emotional narrative.

For gamers seeking new experiences, these additions to Game Pass cater to fans of adventure, roguelikes, indie narratives, and puzzle-platformers. For Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is also available now through EA Play, adding an action-packed experience to the mix.

What new games are coming to Xbox Game Pass in May?

New games coming to Xbox Game Pass in May include Have a Nice Death, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Kona 2: Brume, Little Kitty, Big City, and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.

Little Kitty, Big City, one of May's highlighted Game Pass offerings, is a charming open-world game that taps into the trend of playing as animals in video games, which has gained popularity in recent years. Games like Untitled Goose Game and Stray have showcased that playing as an animal can lead to innovative gameplay and storytelling approaches within interactive media.
