Although previously there were no intentions for a second season of Edgerunners, the company is now open to expanding this universe through new animated content. The original series, which debuted in September 2022, played a significant role in revitalizing Cyberpunk 2077’s player base, attracting millions of new players. Enthusiasm from fans suggests that further stories in this universe could be well-received.

While no official confirmation for a second season of Cyberpunk Edgerunners has been provided, CD Projekt has expressed intentions to explore more animation projects within the franchise, indicating that fans can expect new content.
