EA has verified the development of a single-player Black Panther game a year following initial rumors, according to a brief teaser shared on Twitter.

The game is being created by Cliffhanger Games, a studio overseen by Kevin Stephens, previously known for his work with Monolith Productions on the Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War games.

Several other industry veterans who previously worked on titles such as Halo Infinite, God of War, and Call of Duty have joined the Cliffhanger Games team.

The details about the game are limited, but we do know that it will be a third-person game placed in the expansive and responsive world of Wakanda. The main storyline is set to revolve around taking up the mantle of Black Panther.

At this stage, the game is still early in its development process, so we should not expect a release anytime soon.
