Players were left waiting for hours due to a necessary, large-scale update that proved problematic, with download sizes ranging from 24-35GB. Once live, players reported a series of bugs, including issues accessing new content and glitches affecting gameplay mechanics. Blizzard is working to address these issues and ensure a smoother experience for players.

The launch was plagued by a delayed release, requiring a massive patch due to problems with the pre-loaded build, leading to player lockouts, long download times, and numerous gameplay bugs.

The game features dark fantasy themes and allows players to explore the vast world of Sanctuary, battling hordes of demons and collecting powerful loot.
