Sony has launched a major update for the PS5, introducing the Welcome hub and Party Share features, among other enhancements. The Welcome hub transforms the PS5 home screen with customizable widgets and backgrounds, designed to create a more personalized gaming experience. Party Share allows users to invite friends to join their voice chat, even without being on their friends list, by generating a scannable link. Other features include personalized 3D audio profiles, adaptive charging for controllers, and improved Remote Play settings. Unfortunately, this update does not include the highly requested themes and folders, leaving some users disappointed.
