Final Update of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Released

Last year, the developer announced that Gwent would only receive new updates until 2023. However, a small team of developers will keep the game running. Update 11.10 is now available and implements the final card balance modifications.

CD Projekt has also introduced the 'Balance Council', an in-game voting system for the most avid Gwent players (from Prestige 1 or higher with a Pro-rank) that allows them to vote to change the balance of the cards. A comprehensive FAQ explains the system in detail.

CD Projekt Red has laid off several employees this year, including about thirty members of the Gwent team, those who were working on The Witcher spin-off Project Sirius at The Molasses Flood, and another hundred CD Projekt Red employees later in the summer.
