In a major leak from Microsoft, evidence has emerged suggesting that "Dishonored 3" might be underway. The information surfaced amidst the documents from a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) court case with Microsoft.

It wasn't long ago, back in 2018, when Arkane, the developer, announced that they were saying goodbye to the Dishonored project and focusing on other ventures. However, the newly leaked documents suggest otherwise. Several confidential documents hinting at Microsoft's yet-to-be-revealed projects were discovered on Resetera, one of which was identified as information about "Dishonored 3".

The documents suggest that Arkane may be aiming for a release in 2024. Nevertheless, this speculation comes under uncertainty as Arkane's approach of announcing and releasing a game within such a time frame seems rather unusual. There's also evidence suggesting that this information is somewhat outdated, as it contains announcements and release dates of other games that have already been delayed.

Arkane Lyon, the branch behind "Dishonored 2" and its mini sequel "Death of the Outsider", may be developing the sequel. The documents, however, did not specify whether the project would be undertaken by Arkane Lyon or Arkane Austin.

The leaked files also mention an upcoming "Doom" game titled "Year Zero," planned for release this year, though it's likely it won't be released until next year at the earliest. The documents also revealed plans for remastered versions of "Fallout 3" and "Oblivion", as well as a sequel to "Ghostwire Tokyo".

Despite this significant slip, Microsoft has not yet commented on the situation.
