This exciting series follows three young girls who are transported to the fantasy world of Cephiro to save Princess Emeraude. A teaser trailer has been released showcasing some nostalgic elements from the original series, but there's no detailed information about the cast or release date yet. Fans can stream the original series on Crunchyroll for a refresher while they wait for the new adaptation to drop.

What is the plot of Magic Knight Rayearth?

Magic Knight Rayearth revolves around three schoolgirls, Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji, who are transported to the magical world of Cephiro. Their mission is to save Princess Emeraude, the Pillar of Cephiro, who calls upon them to become the legendary Magic Knights and rescue her world.

Magic Knight Rayearth originally debuted as a manga series in 1993 and was adapted into an anime a year later.
