May 23, 2024 1:15 PM

Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) and several other titles are set to leave the PlayStation Plus Games Catalog for Extra Tier members in June 2024. The PlayStation Store's "Last Chance to Play" page has been updated to list several games that will no longer be accessible starting June 18. Besides GTA 5, notable games like Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons and Indivisible are also exiting. The list also includes DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace, Dodgeball Academia, Monster Jam Steel Titans, MotoGP 23, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, The Talos Principle Deluxe Edition, The Wild at Heart, and Unturned. PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will lose access to Baja: Edge of Control HD from the Classic Games Catalog. This move follows Rockstar Games' recent addition of Red Dead Redemption 2 to the PlayStation Plus service.

Despite being nearly a decade old, GTA 5 continues to maintain a strong player base and significant cultural impact, receiving multiple updates and new content for its online counterpart. This longevity showcases the game's lasting appeal and Rockstar's commitment to keeping the experience fresh for its community.
