Jul 12, 2024 8:50 AM

Nintendo has introduced three previously Japan-exclusive Game Boy Advance games to the Nintendo Switch: Densetsu no Starfy, Densetsu no Starfy 2, and Densetsu no Starfy 3. These titles, starring the star-shaped hero Starfy, are now available for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members. The games feature Starfy’s adventures in the Pufftop Kingdom, offering players a blend of platforming challenges, engaging storylines, and unique abilities such as the Star Spin and Glide. This addition follows the recent inclusion of other classic Game Boy titles like A Link to the Past - Four Swords and Metroid: Zero Mission.

What are the Densetsu no Starfy games about?

The Densetsu no Starfy series follows the adventures of Starfy, a star-shaped hero and prince of the Pufftop Kingdom. Each game features platforming gameplay where Starfy embarks on quests to save his kingdom and loved ones, utilizing various abilities and teaming up with friends to overcome challenges.

Densetsu no Starfy, also known as The Legendary Starfy outside Japan, was developed by Tose Co., Ltd. and published by Nintendo. The series debuted in 2002 on the Game Boy Advance and became known for its charming characters and unique underwater-themed gameplay. With the release on Nintendo Switch, a new audience can experience these delightful adventures.
