The video game "Lies of P" has reportedly sold a million copies since its release, according to announcements from publisher Neowiz and developer Round8 Studio. Launched on September 19 for platforms inclusive of PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and Mac, it's also available on Xbox Game Pass. "Lies of P", inspired by the classic Italian story Pinocchio, known popularly from Disney's adaptation of the story, allows players to control Pinocchio as he searches for Mr. Gepetto, the only person able to save the deteriorating city of Krat.
Pinocchio has a mechanical arm in the game, serving both as a tool and a weapon, enabling him to pull enemies close or add a flamethrower. The game, as assessed by Marcel Vroegrijk, received a score of 8, citing it as an engaging narrative that goes beyond being an imitation of "Bloodborne", while innovating gameplay mechanics. With a bit of imagination, players might liken the game to a "Bloodborne Remastered" edition available for PC and Xbox.
