Jan 08, 2025 7:37 PM

NetEase Games has revealed the character pick and win rates for their popular hero shooter, Marvel Rivals. The data shows that Jeff the Land Shark is the most picked hero in both quickplay and competitive modes, boasting a 21.18% pick rate in quickplay, while Luna Snow takes the lead in competitive with 20.66%. Storm, however, is significantly less popular, with only a 1.66% pick rate in quickplay and just 0.69% in competitive matches. Although pick rates vary, win rates hover around 50%, with Mantis achieving the highest win rates at 56% for quickplay and 55.20% for competitive. This insight may indicate future balance changes as the game continues to evolve with new content updates, including the introduction of Fantastic Four characters.

Why is Jeff the Land Shark so popular in Marvel Rivals?

Jeff's popularity stems from his effective abilities, including his “It’s Jeff!” ultimate, which allows him to eliminate multiple enemies easily. His accessibility and impactful gameplay make him a preferred choice among players, contributing to his high pick rate.

Marvel Rivals is a hero-based shooter set in the Marvel Universe, offering players a diverse roster of iconic characters to choose from. The game encourages strategic gameplay and teamwork, featuring different roles and abilities unique to each hero, which keeps the competition intense and exciting. With regular updates, new characters, and balance changes, Marvel Rivals aims to maintain its engaging gameplay for both casual and competitive players.
