Microsoft issues Redfall refunds after Arkane closure

Microsoft is issuing refunds for Redfall following the closure of developer Arkane Austin. The refunds are available for those who purchased the Hero Pass or the premium Bite Back Edition. The closure occurred amidst broader Bethesda studio shutdowns, impacting other developers such as Tango Gameworks. Redfall struggled significantly at launch, receiving poor reviews and facing technical issues.

Refunds for Redfall can be requested via Bethesda’s customer support site. Digital purchases through channels like the Xbox Store, Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store, or Steam will be automatically refunded. For other retailers, you’ll need to submit a support ticket or contact the retailer directly if you bought a physical copy.
