Modern Warfare 3's first season blasts off

The eagerly anticipated first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has officially launched, bringing an array of fresh content to the game's fanbase. The update includes new 6v6 maps named Meat, set in a butcher's shop, and Greece, capturing the essence of a Greek coastal town. The season will also introduce a map called Rio, based in a Brazilian shopping mall. Players will be able to engage in the newly added Gunfight mode in the Training Facility map, plus the season promises the addition of a Ranked Play feature down the line.

For cooperative play enthusiasts, the Zombie storyline is set to continue. Warzone fans aren't left out, with an all-new Urzikstan map entering the rotation and a fresh Gulag to escape from. Classic maps such as Vondel and Ashika Island are making a return as well. Alongside these updates, the season introduces a new Battle Pass containing unlockable weapons and operators, and several new game modes to keep the gameplay experience varied and engaging.
