Jan 31, 2025 3:40 PM

Player First Games has announced the shutdown of its multiplayer brawler MultiVersus, with Season 5 marking the final season before services end on May 30, 2025. This announcement follows a disappointing launch in 2024 and substantial financial losses for Warner Bros. Discovery, which reported a $100 million shortfall linked to the game's poor performance. Although players can still enjoy offline modes and access previous content, support for online play will cease after the final season.
