"MW3 also gets multiplayer maps from last year's MW2"

Nov 02, 2023 10:20 AM

Activision Blizzard has announced that multiplayer maps from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) will be added to Modern Warfare 3 post-release. This is set to include a series of maps, such as Shoot House, Mercado, and Farm 18, shortly after release. These maps, however, will be incorporated into a special playlist, meaning they cannot be used in the new gaming modes.

Upon release, Modern Warfare 3 will feature all sixteen maps from the 2009 edition of Modern Warfare 2. In addition to these, maps from the 2022 version of Modern Warfare 2 will be added later, along with at least twelve completely new maps.

The release date of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has been set for November 10 and will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC.
