New JRPG Edge of Memories Heads to PC, PS5, Xbox

Edge of Memories has been announced as an exciting new JRPG for PC, PS5, and Xbox, serving as a sequel to 2021's Edge of Eternity. Developed by Midgar Studio and published by Nacon, this game features a remarkable team, including Chrono Trigger composer Yasunori Mitsuda and NieR lyricist Emi Evans. Set in the corrupted world of Heyron, players will assume the role of Eline alongside party members Ysoris and Kanta, navigating through a continent ravaged by the deadly phenomenon known as the 'Corrosion.' The gameplay emphasizes real-time combat with combo mechanics and the possibility for characters to transform into powerful Berserk forms. The game is set to utilize Unreal Engine 5, with an expected release in Fall 2025.
