New Terminator 2 Game Reunites Actor for Authentic Experience

The upcoming retro video game, Terminator 2D: No Fate, is set to launch in September and is based on the iconic film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Players will encounter beloved characters like John Connor, Sarah Connor, T-1000, and T-800. However, the game will notably lack Arnold Schwarzenegger's likeness due to licensing issues. The publisher, Reef Entertainment, clarified that while they secured rights for the film's characters, Arnie's image rights were not included. To compensate, they reached out to Michael Edwards, who briefly portrayed future war John Connor in T2, for his likeness in the game. This retro title aims to expand upon significant scenes from the film, focusing on the battle against machines.

Terminator 2D: No Fate doesn't feature Arnold Schwarzenegger’s likeness because the licensing agreement secured by Reef Entertainment only covers the characters and not his image directly. As a result, the game utilizes the endoskeleton representation of the T-800 instead.
