The Nintendo Switch Online's Nintendo 64 library is expanding with the addition of Mario Party 3 on October 26, according to Nintendo. The mini-game collection, which debuted on Nintendo 64 in Japan in 2000 before moving to the west a year later, introduces characters Waluigi and Daisy and includes over 70 mini-games and six game boards. This is also the series’ first foray into a story mode.
The Mario Party 3 characters include the mischievous Waluigi, who brings his chaotic island filled with tricky traps and crafty contraptions, and Daisy, who adds her special charm to the competition. Mini-games include jumping over clock hands in Tick Tock Hop, racing to eat a pizza first in Eatsa Pizza, swinging from vine to vine in Vine With Me, and running circles in Eye Sore from Super Mario 64 among others.
Mario Party 3 also includes the franchise's first story mode, a quest to become the universe's top superstar, and six diverse game boards, new items, the introduction of Duel mode, and another character, the bow-tie sporting Game Guy. Both Mario Party 3 and the 1080° Snowboarding game, announced by Nintendo in September of last year, will only be accessible to members of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
