Feb 21, 2024 4:51 PM

In recent gaming news, there's been a lot of buzz surrounding the possibility of a Bloodborne remake, especially with the PS5's successful launch of Demon's Souls and its impressive showcasing of the console's capabilities. However, despite the enthusiasm and ongoing rumors, FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki has confirmed there are currently no announcements or news to share about a Bloodborne remake. Fans of the action-packed gothic adventure will have to remain patient, as the team at FromSoftware appreciates the community's passion but has not committed to revisiting the title for the PS5 or a future PS6 platform. This news comes alongside information about the discontinuation of Bloodborne assets in Bloodborne Kart, adding to the existing content drought for die-hard fans of the game. Nevertheless, the excitement around the upcoming Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has been a highlight for many awaiting new adventures from the renowned developer.

Is there going to be a Bloodborne remake for PS5 or PS6?

No, as of the latest updates from FromSoftware and Hidetaka Miyazaki, there is no confirmed Bloodborne remake for either the PS5 or the future PS6. Although the community has shown great interest, no official plans have been announced.

Bloodborne was originally released in March 2015 for the PlayStation 4 and quickly became a cult classic for its challenging gameplay, atmospheric world design, and intricate lore. Developed by FromSoftware and directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, Bloodborne represents a significant entry in the "soulsborne" genre, offering players a unique blend of action RPG elements with a distinctive dark Victorian gothic aesthetic. The game is known for its high difficulty level and rewarding combat mechanics, as well as its deep and intriguing storyline, which has kept fans engaged for years after its initial release. Despite no current plans for a remake, the game continues to have a dedicated following, with many gamers still exploring its nightmarish world and uncovering its many secrets.

Hey, I just read about the Bloodborne remake rumors, but it looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer for any official announcements. It's a shame for fans eagerly awaiting a next-gen version, but at least Elden Ring is on the horizon to keep us occupied in the meantime

It's a bit of a bummer that there are no official plans yet, but at least we've got Elden Ring to look forward to from the same team. Fingers crossed for some good news in the future
