Atlus has revealed the opening cinematic for the highly anticipated remake, Persona 3 Reload, which showcases the game’s animated introduction and features the song "Full Moon Full Life." The title is slated for release on February 2, 2024, and will be available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox platforms, and Xbox Game Pass from day one. Persona 3 Reload is a revamped version of the original Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 that debuted on the PlayStation 2. In the game, players take on the role of a student joining the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (SEES) to explore a phenomenon known as the Dark Hour and battle creatures called Shadows in a towering labyrinth called Tartarus. By day, players attend school and engage in social interactions, which bolster their strength for the nightly battles.

When can players get their hands on Persona 3 Reload?

Persona 3 Reload will be released on February 2, 2024, for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms, including day one access on Xbox Game Pass.

Persona 3 is part of the larger Persona series, which itself is a subseries of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise. Each installment combines traditional role-playing game elements with social simulation scenarios, where player choices in their character's daily life impact their battle capabilities and the development of the game's narrative. The Persona series is well-known for its deep storylines, complex characters, and the integration of philosophical and psychological themes into its gameplay and story. Originally released in 2006, Persona 3 quickly garnered acclaim for these innovative features and has since been considered a classic of the RPG genre.
