Netflix's popular series "The Witcher" may come to a close after its fifth season, according to reliable sources reported by Redanian Intelligence. This means that fans can expect two more seasons of the captivating show. It is reported that these seasons will draw inspiration from three of Andrzej Sapkowski's books: "Baptism of Fire," "Tower of the Swallow," and "Lady of the Lake".
After an initial writers' strike, production for the fourth season is now underway. The current plan is to film the fourth and fifth seasons back-to-back. However, there is no confirmed release date for the fourth season as of yet.
The latest season, the third, premiered on June 29 this year, marking the final portrayal of Geralt of Rivia by actor Henry Cavill. The role will be taken over by Liam Hemsworth starting from the fourth season.
