A new teaser hints at the return of 'The Boys' fan-favorite character, Soldier Boy, in the next episode of the series 'Gen V.'

The official Gen V account on "X" posted a brief warning to "hide your grandmas" along with a video which reveals an unexpected cameo by Jensen Ackles' character, Soldier Boy, in Episode 6 titled "Jumanji", premiering on Prime Video on October 20. Ackles’ character was last seen in 'The Boys' Season 3 finale, caught in a thrilling battle that had him put in cryogenic stasis under the auspices of the U.S. government, stirring anticipation for his future return.

Fans found it difficult to consider the popular character wasting away in a military bunker, and his appearance on 'Gen V', sooner than many had predicted, has sparked excitement and speculation. They raised theories about the circumstances of his return — whether it's a true escape, a flashback sequence, or perhaps a shapeshifting trick or a hallucination.

Gen V, with its first five episodes currently available, releases new episodes weekly on Prime Video through November 3. The latest episode of Gen V received a positive review from IGN which described it as a "great" chapter dealing with significant issues, driving the plot forward even without a heavy focus on action.
