PS5 Update Boosts Activities Display for Enhanced Gaming Experience

Sony has released a new PS5 system software update, version 24.07-10.20.00, improving how Activities cards present information. The update, weighing 1.3GB, now classifies activities as 'In Progress', 'Not Started', or 'Completed', enhancing usability for players. Alongside these changes, the update also focuses on boosting system performance and stability and refining messaging on various screens. This release arrives just before the PS5 Pro's launch on November 7, with promises of improved framerates and visual quality for over 70 titles set to receive upgrades. The PS5 continues to see robust sales, with 61.7 million units sold, although the numbers show a decline as the console approaches the mid lifecycle point.
