Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Requests Paris Museum to Improve Wax Figure, Starting with Skin Color Correction

Following public ridicule of a wax figure created in Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's likeness at Paris' Grévin Museum, Johnson has now requested changes be made, specifically concerning the figure's erroneous skin tone. The actor's request came as a response to a comedic video from James Andre Jefferson Jr., teasing the sculpture for its lack of resemblance.

In an Instagram post, Johnson showed a sporting reaction to Jefferson's video. Yet, he confirmed his intention in the caption, stating he would have his team contact the museum for significant "updating" of his wax figure, beginning with accurate representation of his skin color. In response to Johnson's call for modification, the Grévin Museum assured him they would rectify the error promptly and share pictures once the change is complete.

Following the wax figure unveiling last week, the artwork faced criticism due to a significant discrepancy between the actor's and the statue's skin tones. Social media users accused the figure of resembling anything from an "Eastern European plumber" to Mr. Clean or Vin Diesel, Johnson's co-star in Fast & Furious. Johnson acknowledged these reactions, consequently instigating this call for change.
