Video game news site Gamer.nl has dropped a new trailer, delivered by Bandai Namco, for the upcoming action-RPG Sand Land. The trailer showcases detailed gameplay, cinematic sequences, and introduces a new, yet unknown character.

Developed by ILCA, the studio behind titles such as Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl, and One Piece Odyssey, Sand Land immerses players into the roles of devil prince Beelzebub, sheriff Rao, and the demon Thief. Their mission is to find a hidden water source in the desert. Gameplay emphasized real-time combat system with explorable areas, various vehicles for traversing the game world, and a range of weapons and tools to overcome desert challenges.

Sand Land is based on a short manga series that appeared weekly in Japan's Shonen Jump magazine in 2000. Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball and the designer for Dragon Quest, wrote and illustrated the series, which focused on a desert world where both humans and demons faced extreme water scarcity.

The game, which does not yet have a release date, will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
