Developer Rare has announced a delay for the release of Sea of Thieves Season 10, now set for October 19, 2023. The decision was made due to challenges in development of the season's primary feature. The delay will also benefit the quality of the release, maintain a sustainable development process, and ensure the well-being of the development team.
To mitigate the disappointment of the delayed release, the developer plans to roll out new content in August and September. This includes an event called the Gold & Glory Weekend, scheduled from August 4th to 7th. Rare has also disclosed plans to introduce three Tall Tales missions for The Legend of Monkey Island over the next three months, with the first mission, The Journey to Mêlée Island, already available.
