The much-anticipated Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 open beta has been canceled so the development team can focus on finalizing the game for its upcoming launch. Developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment made the announcement on the Space Marine 2 Steam page, expressing appreciation for the fans' excitement and understanding. To compensate those who registered for the beta, they are providing a limited Bolt Pistol skin. Space Marine 2's official release date is set for September 9, 2024, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The game builds on the lore of Games Workshop's iconic tabletop wargame, known for its dark sci-fi universe and strategic depth.
