Despite user complaints, which caused a mixed Steam user rating, the game achieved a peak of 81,840 concurrent players, setting a record for a PlayStation Studios game on Steam. Helldivers 2 allows players to cooperate in teams to keep alien threats from the fictional 'Super Earth', completing various missions. The game is available on Steam and PlayStation 5 and follows the original title released in 2015.
