Techland recently teased exciting updates for Dying Light 2, giving video gamers something to look forward to this fall and winter. Using a graphic and a trailer shared through IGN, they announced new missions which can be co-operatively played, as well as new features like the Tower Raid. The characters Fatin and Tolga are set to return, and the game will also host thematic events for Halloween and winter.
The Series S version of the game is expected to receive a Field of View (FOV) slider. Bloom, a visual effect that could previously not be managed, will soon be switchable. There's also an array of new cosmetic items and a Nightmare difficulty level to be added to the game.
Dying Light 2, which released early last year, has been well-received by its audience. The reviewer Ruan Moleman rated the game an 8 out of 10, praising its offering of increased control in its game-flow. The missions are engaging and captivating, players are often put in conflicting situations due to the choices with real impacts on the story, and the characters come to life through excellent writing and voice acting.
Techland seems to be committed to supporting this sequel for many years, just like the first game. If you love gaming, freerunning in the beautifully designed city of Villedor, either solo or with friends, is an experience worth exploring in Dying Light 2. Musters, a part of the Gamer.nl editorial team since 2007 and an ardent fan of The Legend of Zelda and Hollow Knight, is particularly looking forward to the additions promised for the videogame.
