Tekken 8’s Boss Desperately Seeks Waffle House Crossover

May 13, 2025 3:03 PM

Tekken 8's director Katsuhiro Harada has acknowledged fans' requests for a Waffle House stage in the upcoming game. Harada, who has made attempts to contact Waffle House, expressed understanding of the popularity of this idea among the community. He believes the lack of response may be related to the nature of his game being fighting-themed. While there is no current plan for a Waffle House crossover, Harada mentioned the possibility of a parody version, such as "Hustle House." Tekken 8 is gearing up for updates, including Patch 2.01, and the addition of new character Fahkumram to its roster.

Will there be a Waffle House stage in Tekken 8?

As of now, there are no confirmed plans for a Waffle House stage in Tekken 8, but director Katsuhiro Harada has shown interest and made attempts to reach out for a potential collaboration.

Tekken 8 is part of the acclaimed fighting game franchise developed by Bandai Namco, known for its deep combat mechanics and diverse character roster. Released on January 26, 2024, it continues the legacy of high-octane martial arts battles, expanding on storylines and featuring iconic characters like Kazuya and Jin. The game is highly anticipated for its graphics and gameplay improvements, set to attract both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
