Netflix has revealed a teaser trailer for its upcoming anime series, Terminator Zero, set to premiere on August 29. The trailer features The Smashing Pumpkins’ "Disarm" and showcases familiar Terminator elements reimagined in anime style. The series, co-produced by Skydance and Production I.G., is set during Skynet’s uprising in 1997 and the human resistance war in 2022. It follows scientist Malcolm Lee, who creates a new A.I. to counter Skynet, and a resistance fighter named Eiko sent back to protect him. The cast includes Timothy Olyphant, Rosario Dawson, and André Holland. All episodes will be available on Netflix at launch.
