The Story of Insomniacs Spiderman Series So Far

Sony and Insomniac Games have released a video summarizing the story of the Marvel's Spider-Man series. This serves as a memory jogger for those who haven't played Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales or have forgotten what happens in these games, allowing them to get informed about the events leading up to the newly-released Spider-Man 2. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is now available on PlayStation 5. Insomniac previously encouraged players to download the day one patch immediately. "The update enhances the 'gold master version' of Spider-Man 2 on the disc, implementing improvements to the opening portion of the game and including other overall refinements for your experience, such as additional accessibility options. Peter Parker and Miles Morales play important roles in the game - players can switch between the two heroes. Both Spider-Men also have new moves. Players not only explore Manhattan but also Queens and Brooklyn in the game.

Erik Nusselder rewarded the game with an 8, stating, "Spider-Man 2 is a sequel by the book. It provides more of everything that worked so well in the previous parts. This results in an incredibly good and smooth playable game with a lot of fun, but Insomniac often makes the very safest choices, so the game rarely surprises." Insomniac announced yesterday that an update should be released sometime after the game's launch, adding New Game Plus.
