Gamers will be transported to 16th Century Japan during the Sengoku period to play as Naoe, a shinobi Assassin from the Iga Province, or Yasuke, the famed historical samurai warrior. The characters will navigate an era rife with civil war and unrest as they work to unify Japan. The game promises a fusion of Naoe's stealth abilities and Yasuke's combat prowess, offering players varied playstyles and paths to explore. With an open-world environment that changes with seasons and weather, varied landscapes such as castle towns and shrines offer immersive gameplay experiences. Building spy networks, enhancing hideouts, and recruiting allies are central to the gameplay. Pre-orders are available with special editions offering additional content, expansions, and physical collectibles.
