Apex Legends Season 29: Overclocked and new respawn mechanics

New respawn mechanic

With the launch of Season 29, Apex Legends is getting a completely new way to bring teammates back into the match. Players will be able to revive squadmates through death boxes. This is a major shift from existing methods, such as the Mobile Respawn Beacon introduced in 2020. The new death box revive lets players bring teammates back at the spot where they died, which could lead to intense and strategic gameplay. Axle’s abilities

Axle has unique abilities that highlight her role on a team. Her tactical ability, Nitro Gate, gives a temporary speed boost to players who pass through it, which can affect both teammates and enemies. Her ultimate, Kickstart, is a drone that seeks out the nearest enemy and explodes on first contact, dealing damage and a significant knockback. This gives Axle the tools to force enemies out of cover, making them easier for her and her squad to deal with.
