Blizzard may be working on a new StarCraft shooter

The recent hiring of Drew Murray, who has worked at Blizzard as Associate Design Director since January 2026, adds fuel to the speculation. Murray has an impressive background, with a career that includes roles at Insomniac Games, where he worked on titles such as Marvel's Spider-Man 2. He is also a well-known name in the games industry for his earlier work on the Perfect Dark reboot.
