CDawgVA, a popular content creator, has recently completed his fifth annual Cyclethon event. This year, the campaign raised nearly $1.5 million for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. The Cyclethon is a charity streaming event that began in 2022 and was created to support VTuber Ironmouse.

The Cyclethon was set up by CDawgVA, also known as Connor, to raise awareness of the challenges faced by people with a primary immune deficiency, with a specific focus on the impact on Ironmouse's health. The VTuber suffers from Common Variable Immune Deficiency (CVID), which significantly affects her life. Connor chose to organize the event to raise money and provide much-needed support for Ironmouse and others in similar situations.

Cyclethon 5: A look at the details

The fifth edition of the Cyclethon began on April 23, 2026, in Ōma Town, located in Aomori Prefecture, and ended in Osaka. Over two weeks, Connor and his friends cycled an impressive 1,300 kilometers. This edition featured a strong lineup of content creators, including Abroad in Japan, PewDiePie, Robcdee, Gigguk, PremierTwo, and Ironmouse herself. Despite her physical limitations during the Cyclethon, Ironmouse was involved in innovative ways throughout the event.

Ironmouse's participation

Due to her health issues, Ironmouse was unable to take part in the cycling physically. However, during the stream, she joined live from her home, where she participated virtually in the activities. One standout moment came when Ironmouse appeared on the front of Connor's bike, where she had the chance to chat, sing, and even laugh at the moments when Connor took breaks in different parts of Japan. This kind of friendship highlights the positive impact of the Cyclethon.

While the event was generally seen as a major success, not everyone agreed. Some viewers even reacted negatively to moments of kindness between Ironmouse and Connor. During a break, Ironmouse asked whether Connor wanted to jump on a trampoline with her. Some viewers dismissed it as "cringe" or pointless, despite the good intentions behind those interactions.
