Crimson Desert: new update adds special mounts and a claw machine

The open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert, developed by Pearl Abyss, has received a major update that introduces a range of new features and improvements. Version 1.06.00 gives players the ability to tame several special mounts and play a new claw machine mini-game.

New special mounts

Crimson Desert has expanded its unique mount system. In the latest update, players can now ride a variety of animals, including bears, wolves, tigers, lions, and even iguanas. To obtain these special mounts, players must earn the animals’ trust by feeding and subduing them. Once tamed, these creatures can be purchased from local saddleries.

Extraction feature added

One of the biggest additions in this update is the extraction feature. This system allows players to partially recover materials used to upgrade gear. Players can now return processed equipment to a base level and reclaim some of the materials invested in it. The feature should be especially useful for players looking to manage their resources more efficiently.

Claw machine mini-game

In addition, a claw machine is now available at the Laughing Marionette, where players can win a range of unique items such as lighting, special headgear, and Abyss Artifacts. It adds a lighter, more playful way to earn extra rewards.
