Konami has announced a remarkable crossover for eFootball, bringing iconic characters from the popular anime Naruto into the game. This collaboration adds a new layer of creativity to the popular football simulation with a range of Naruto-themed player variants and unique celebrations.

New Naruto-themed player variants

The crossover includes several famous footballers reimagined in Naruto-themed outfits. Neymar Jr, the Brazilian star, appears in the trailer dressed as Naruto, complete with the signature orange outfit. During the trailer, he showcases his skills by kicking a ball that transforms into a Rasen-Shuriken. This will no doubt leave Brazilian coach Carlo Ancelotti stunned by his abilities, even if he may not be able to take part in the 2026 World Cup due to fitness issues.

We also see other well-known players, such as Japanese signing Takefusa Kubo, known as the "Japanese Messi." Kubo is also shown with the Sharingan dojutsu, a trait associated with the anime character he represents, Kankuro. Luka Modric, now 40 years old, appears as Itachi Uchiha in the trailer, complete with the iconic Akatsuki cloak and hand signs typical of the character.
