Epic Games Store reveals free games for May 2026: Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure and Trash Goblin

The Epic Games Store has officially announced that two new games will be available for free to users on May 7, 2026. The titles are Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure from indie studio Furniture and Mattress and Trash Goblin from London-based Spilt Milk Studios.

Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure is the debut release from Furniture and Mattress, a small indie studio founded by developers with impressive experience in the games industry. Among them are David Hellman, known for Braid, Nick Suttner, writer for Carto, and Nicolás Recabarren, designer of Ethereal.

Before its release on July 25, 2024, the game received the Best Game from Latin America award at Gamescom Latam. Arranger blends adventure and puzzle elements, using a sliding mechanic where players move tiles containing paths, keys, enemies, and traps. The game takes around five hours to complete on average, though completionists can expect roughly eight hours of playtime.

What is Trash Goblin?

Trash Goblin, the second free game on offer, is a shopkeeping title developed in 2025 by Spilt Milk Studios. The Epic Games Store previously had a period where it regularly gave away two games per week, but in April 2026 that frequency was reduced.
