Infinity Nikki gets a major update on April 23, 2026

Infinity Nikki, the popular dress-up gacha RPG developed by Infold, is set to launch the second half of the Itzaland chapter with version 2.5, arriving on April 23, 2026. The game, which launched in December 2024, drew in millions of new fans and generated significant goodwill in its first months by consistently delivering updates and improvements.

Developments in the game

The first months after launch were especially strong for Infinity Nikki. Players enjoyed frequent improvements until version 1.5 launched in April 2025 and the game received a wave of negative feedback. That version removed the beloved prologue, introduced a controversial dye system, and ran into serious technical issues that hurt the experience.

Since then, the Infold team has been working to rebuild the community's trust. Version 2.0 introduced Itzaland, which was generally well received by fans. The expansion added new gameplay elements, including archery, and many players returned to the game in December 2025 after the criticism that followed version 1.5.

What does version 2.5 bring?

Version 2.5, arriving on April 23, 2026, will bring a substantial expansion to Itzaland. A new zone called the Boneyard is being added, a atmospheric area filled with dragon bones and ancient ruins. This new region will be accessible from the northern edge of the current Itzaland map and will introduce new Ability Outfits, including a Dragonbone Master outfit, allowing Nikki to solve puzzles and even ride dragon bones.

The update will also include Outfit Banners, featuring a 5-star Archer outfit and a 5-star Bug-Catching outfit, giving players the chance to unlock unique outfits with different themes. The expansion of the Merit Arena in version 2.5 means players will be able to take on seven new combat challenges.
