LEGO Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith set leaked

Images of the long-awaited LEGO Lord of the Rings Minas Tirith set have recently leaked online. This build recreates the iconic city of Minas Tirith from the Lord of the Rings franchise and, with 8,278 pieces, is the largest LEGO set ever in the series. That puts it ahead of the previous records held by the Rivendell set with 6,167 bricks and the Barad-dûr set with 5,471 pieces.

Set contents

The Minas Tirith set promises a detailed scale model of the city, from the outer gates to the towering cliffs and the high Citadel. The back of the model features a clever cutaway that offers a look inside the Citadel. This makes it possible to recreate scenes with minifigures of Pippin and Denethor, both of whom are included in the set.

Price and availability

The set is expected to hit the market with an estimated price of $649.99. Fans should be able to find the Minas Tirith set on store shelves starting June 1, 2026.

Minifigures

Alongside Pippin and Denethor, the set also includes other iconic characters such as King Aragorn, Gandalf, Faramir, four soldiers of Gondor, and Shadowfax the horse. This varied selection of minifigures makes it an appealing product for collectors and fans of the franchise.
