LEGO Minecraft Dungeons 2: new set for 2026 revealed

LEGO has recently officially unveiled its new set, called the Twisted Warden Battle, based on Minecraft Dungeons 2. The set includes 438 pieces and is set to hit shelves in mid-summer 2026. The reveal marks another expansion of LEGO’s popular Minecraft theme, which has produced a wide range of models since 2013.

About the set

The Twisted Warden Battle set is designed with play in mind, as shown by its focus on both building and action. It fits LEGO’s broader push to encourage fantasy and creativity for kids aged 8 and up. The set includes not only the imposing Warden, which stands more than 5.5 inches (about 14 cm) tall, but also four minifigures: Kellen, Ren, Flores, and Valorie. That makes it the third most figure-packed LEGO Minecraft set of 2026, behind Ghast Station and Evoker Village Attack, which include five and seven figures respectively.

The evolution of LEGO Minecraft

LEGO’s first Minecraft set, 21102 Micro World: The Forest, debuted in June 2012. It was part of the company’s Ideas line and marked the beginning of LEGO’s involvement with the Minecraft IP. In September 2013, the dedicated LEGO Minecraft theme officially launched. Since then, the line has continued to grow, and LEGO has now introduced more than 200 sets, as confirmed in 2026.

What to expect

The Twisted Warden Battle set is the 18th LEGO Minecraft set planned for 2026 and joins the wave of sets that were already leaked earlier in the year. The set will retail for $59.99 and is expected on August 1, 2026.
