Lego Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection: official instructions released

Lego and Nintendo have recently released official instructions for building the Lego Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection. This gives fans the chance to recreate the popular set without having to pay the high price of the full bundle.

Collaboration between Lego and Nintendo

In 2026, Lego teamed up with Nintendo to release three sets based on the Pokémon franchise. The largest and most expensive set, priced at around £600, includes 6,838 pieces and comes with a bonus Lego Pokémon Kanto Region build. Popular Pokémon featured in the set include Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise.

The Kanto Region Badge Collection was originally available as a gift with pre-orders of the large set. After the announcement, however, many interested fans found the Kanto Region Badge Collection being listed on resale sites for prices starting at £100, despite Lego valuing the set at around £25.

Official instructions and budget-friendly options

Lego has now released official instructions in the form of an 80-page PDF. These instructions include a list of all 312 required bricks, allowing fans to rebuild the Kanto Region Badge Collection themselves. This offers a cost-effective option for anyone who does not want to buy the set on the secondary market.

Fans who may need missing pieces can order them through Lego’s Pick a Brick page, which should work out far cheaper than buying the set on eBay.
