These oversized minifigures have become popular in recent years as an additional product line from LEGO, and the trainer minifigure could be added to this.

According to rumors, this trainer minifigure may also be offered as part of a 2-in-1 deal with a regular version. This would align with previous releases where oversized figures were offered alongside standard minifigures.

The development of a Pokémon trainer minifigure marks the second minifigure leaked from the upcoming 2026 LEGO Pokémon line. The first is an Eevee minifigure that is likely to be included in a yet-to-be-announced set, 72154 Poke Ball. This set is reportedly set to contain over 2,200 pieces and priced at $259.99.

With the introduction of Smart Play technology, which LEGO has announced in select countries, we can also expect that some LEGO Pokémon products will utilize these new interactive features. Smart Play uses rechargeable blocks with sensors, lights, and speakers and will offer a limited release experience in countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Poland, Germany, and Australia.
