Marvel Cosmic Invasion: first DLC with new heroes Cyclops and The Thing

Marvel Cosmic Invasion, the retro beat-em-up inspired by the iconic Marvel arcade games of the early ’90s, has received its first paid DLC. Launched today, the DLC adds two new playable heroes to the game: Cyclops from the X-Men and The Thing from the Fantastic Four.

Cost and availability

The new DLC is available for $3.99 and has launched on all platforms where the base game is available: PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Since its release in December 2025, Marvel Cosmic Invasion has been well received by critics, with an average score of 81 on OpenCritic. Nick Rodriguez of GameRant gave the game an 8/10, calling it one of the best arcade throwbacks in recent years.

New playable hero additions

Cyclops, a fan-favorite hero from the X-Men, has now been added to the roster of Marvel Cosmic Invasion.
